Turkey have so far proven to be a quality above League C of the Nations League and they will be going for a fourth straight win in the competition when they host Lithuania. Turkey leads Group C1 with nine points, while Lithuania have no points so far. Turkey have scored 12 in three Nations League matches, and haven’t conceded a goal. In each of their last four matches across all competitions, they have scored two or more, and four of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals. They will take some consolation in having scored at least, after going without a goal in the earlier three matches. Lithuania are poor both in attack and defence; in their first meeting with Turkey, they lost 6-0 at home, and that came after a 2-0 loss at home to Luxembourg. They’ve now failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 21 matches. Seven times in their last 10 Nations league matches, Lithuania have conceded two or more goals and they’ve failed to score in five of the 10 matches.
