Empoli will be away to Torino on Saturday seeking to claw their way out of the Serie A relegation zone. The visitors are third from bottom coming into this weekend’s fixture while Torino are 11th. Torino have picked up four points from their last two outings. This has allowed them to move eight points clear of the drop zone. Ivan Juric’s men have amassed 20 points and are now targeting to close the gap between them and the top six. Il Toro, who drew 0-0 with Frosinone last time out, are just four points from the European places. Torino have won five matches with three of those coming in their last six league outings.

Empoli haven’t won against Torino in four meetings. They however have drawn three of those matches and at the very least will be confident of earning a point here. Empoli have been in decent form in recent weeks and have avoided defeat in three of their last four fixtures. They have earned five points in this period. Aurelio Andreazzoli’s men could climb out of the relegation zone here with another draw as only goal difference is keeping them in the red. They have drawn back-to-back games all by 1-1 score lines with the most recent coming at home against Lecce. Empoli have managed three wins with two of those coming away from home.
