Torino will be at home in round 23 of the Italian Serie A against struggling Cremonese. The hosts are eighth in the standings with 30 points while Cremonese are rock bottom with eight points. Torino have a record of eight wins, six draws and eight losses this season and have European ambitions. They have scored 22 goals which is the least tally of the teams in the top half of the table. Ivan Juric’s side have let in 23 goals which equates to a goal a game. Victories have been few and far in between for II Toro who have won just two of their last five matches across all competitions. In both wins they have kept two clean sheets thanks to similar 1-0 wins away to Fiorentina and at home to Udinese. They have conceded five goals and scored the same number in return. In the last game, Torino lost 1-0 away to AC Milan and will be keen to not make it successive defeats. At home, they have fared a bit better but still their form doesn’t send shivers down the spine of opponents. They have won just four games at home all season with another three ending in defeat. Torino have netted multiple goals just twice at home and have been kept from scoring on four occasions.

After 22 matches in Serie A, Cremonese are still waiting for their first win. They have lost 14 and drawn eight and are literally the league’s whipping boys having conceded 40 goals with just 15 scored. Davide Ballardini’s men have lost seven of their last eight matches in the league and have conceded 16 goals in the process while scoring just four. Cremonese are faring much better in the Coppa Italia where they are through to the semifinals after a shock 2-1 win away at Roma and they will be hoping that this rubs off in the league sooner rather than later if they are to stay up. The visitors are already 11 points below the safety zone and for the sake of their survival chase, they need to start banking points.
