In league terms, the Brazilians have been sensational again this season and are the only team in the PSL that are still unbeaten this term. They are on 42 points after 16 games, 11 points clear of second-placed Cape Town City, and have two games in hand. Sundowns have secured seven wins and one draw on the road this season and are aiming to extend their impressive 20-match unbeaten streak away from home, comprising 15 wins and five draws, dating back to September 2022. The visitors won the last encounter against this opponent 2-1 and are the clear favourites here.
