Lille will be out to hold on to fourth position when they travel to Troyes for their final Ligue 1 game. Hosts Troyes are already relegated but Lille as chasing a Europa League slot, which can only come with a win. Troyes march into this game without a win in their last 21 matches. The last time they won a game was in the first week of January 2023. In that shape, their relegation was expected. From a possible 30 points in their last 10 league matches, Troyes have bagged just three points. In that run, they have conceded two or more goals in seven of the 10 matches. At home this season, Troyes have managed just one win. They have gone without a win in their last 16 home matches, six of the last 10 ending in losses. One player Troyes will be wary about, is Jonathan David. The Lille forward has scored four in the last four meetings with Troyes.

Lille are in pole position to get the Europa League slot, but they have two sides still competing for the same. Rennes and Monaco, just a point below, will be hoping for a Lille slip. A win is Lille’s safest outcome and they’ll sure be playing for that against a relegated side. Coming from two straight wins will put Lille in a confident position.
