Troyes vs Lens Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Second placed Lens can draw level on points with Ligue 1 leaders PSG if winning at 14th placed Troyes. Lens have a massively inferior goal difference compared to PSG and will have played a game more than the defending champions. Lens know that if they are to somehow win the title, their away form has to be improved. While they have won all ten of their home league games, only three out of nine have been won on the road. Lens are unbeaten in their last nine Ligue 1 fixtures and that includes a home win over PSG. On the road though, they have drawn both of their last two away league fixtures but did win at Brest last weekend in the French Cup. 

Troyes need points too as they battle relegation. They are only three points above the bottom three and come into this match hoping to avoid a third successive defeat in Ligue 1. Troyes have been struggling for a fair while with only one win in their last 12 league and cup matches. In addition to the two recent losses in Ligue 1, they were also beaten in the French Cup. Lille knocked them out and then followed that by beating Troyes 5-1 in the league last weekend. Home form for Troyes has seen them only win one league game but six have ended level. Lens can't afford to become draw number seven and should be able to get an important away win.
