Trabzonspor vs MKE Ankaragucu Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Two sides looking to end the season on a high will face-off when Trabzonspor hosts 13th placed Ankaragucu in the Super Lig on Monday evening. The hosts were solid for most of the season, but a poor run of results in recent weeks has seen them slip down the league table to eighth, with 45 points after 30 matches, now 20 points behind the top three. Trabzonspor lost their last league match 2-1 to Konyaspor, which extended their winless run to five matches, including four losses and a draw. At home this season, Trabzonspor were excellent and carried an unbeaten record for 10 matches. However, following those recent losses, their home record now reads as nine wins, four draws, and two losses in 15 matches at Senol Gunes Spor Kompleksi. The hosts have been very poor in defense in recent weeks, shipping 12 goals in their last five league matches. They will need to tighten up in this one or are likely to drop more points here against this tricky opponent. 

Ankaragucu comes into this one in 13th place in the Super Lig, though they will still be looking over their shoulders with their league safety not confirmed just yet. The visitors played out a stalemate against Kasimpasa last week, which extended their record to three matches unbeaten. Over their last six league matches, Ankaragucu have won three, drawn one, and lost two. However, their away record this season is far from impressive, with just four wins in 15 matches, along with two draws and 11 losses. Ankaragucu are on a four-match losing streak in away matches, failing to win any on the road since January. These sides met in the Cup competition last month, and Ankaragucu came out 3-1 winners then and will be hoping that they can pull off a similar result in this one.
