Trabzonspor vs Hatayspor Antakya Prediction & Betting Tips - Super Lig

Hatayspor didn’t have a game in the opening week of the Turkish Super Lig and thus they commence their campaign with an away game at defending champions Trabzonspor. The hosts started their title defence on a high, beating Istanbulspor 2-0 away from home to rise to third after the opening day fixtures. Earlier, Trabzonspor thrashed Sivasspor 4-0 in the Super Cup clash. They will try to keep this strong start going, and with six goals already in their first two competitive matches they will be outright favorites. Twice in the last five matches, Trabzonspor have failed to score but in the other three games, they scored two or more in each. In 25 league matches at home, Trabzonspor are unbeaten; the last time they lost a league game at home was in March 2021.

Hatayspor finished 12th last season and will be targeting a better performance this time. They’ve had mixed results in their four preseason matches, winning once, losing twice and in their final match of preseason they drew 2-2 with Adanaspor. In their last five matches, Hatayspor have managed just one clean sheet and this will be their biggest concern going into the game. Three times in the last four matches, Hatayspor have conceded two or more goals. Both teams have scored in three of their last five matches and four of the five games have seen over 2.5 goals scored. Hatayspor was promoted in 2020 and in the four matches against Trabzonspor since then, they are winless, losing two and drawing two.
