Toulouse vs Marseille Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Toulouse and Marseille will be aiming to keep their unbeaten Ligue 1 record intact when they face off at Stadium de Toulouse on Saturday night. Le Tefece are currently in 11th place in the league standings while Les Phoceens are fifth. Check out our match prediction below. 

After safely navigating their second season back in the top flight with a 12th-placed finish last term, Toulouse’s primary objective in 2024-25 will likely be to try and break into the top half of the table. 

So far, Le Tefece have proven difficult to beat, playing out a goalless draw at home to Nantes in their first game of the season, before taking a point of Nice with a 1-1 draw on the road last weekend. 

However, the hosts’ home record is a cause for concern as they are winless in their last six league matches at this venue. Toulouse have not beaten Marseille in their last 20 attempts, losing 12 and drawing eight. 

Last season, Marseille took a massive step backwards, dropping all the way to eighth place after finishing third in 2022-23, while also ending 23 points behind their tally from the previous campaign. 

However, Les Phoceens have begun this term on a much more positive note, smashing in five goals in their opening match of the season against Brest before coming from behind to claim a 2-2 draw against Reims last weekend. 

Roberto De Zerbi’s side also had a solid pre-season, ending unbeaten in their final four games, which sees them enter this contest undefeated in six.
