Toulouse host Marseille in Ligue 1 on Sunday as they bid to qualify for European football next season. The home side are 11th in the table, two places behind the visitors. Le Tef are seven points behind the final Europa Conference League qualification place so really need a win this weekend. They come into this game unbeaten in their last three matches, a good recovery after losing the two previous league fixtures. Two of the last three Toulouse matches have ended in victory. Their most recent win was a hard-fought one as they came from a goal down to win at Rennes. Les Violets have only won three of their 14 home league games this season with six being drawn and five lost. Their last two at home have failed to produce a win. Both teams have scored in three of the last four home fixtures.

Marseille had a great night on Thursday as they qualified for the semi-finals of the Europa League. They beat Benfica 1-0 to level the aggregate score at 2-2 and then won the penalty shoot-out. That was a very welcome win for the Olympians who had lost their five previous matches. Marseille are four points behind the Europa Conference League qualifying position and a further point behind the Europa League.place. Who knows, they may win the Europa League this season and go into next season's Champions League?  Away form in Ligue 1 has been hugely disappointing this season.
