Tottenham continue to have a good season and a strong challenge for a Champions League place is definitely on the cards, especially if they can strengthen in January. They have still only lost one league game this season and that was in the very first game of the Premier League season when an own goal cost them a 1-0 defeat at Man Utd. Out of 12 games though six have been drawn and that might prove costly in the long run. At home they are unbeaten in the league and have ten points from their last four matches at White Hart Lane. The more points they can earn at home the better that chance of getting into Europe and not the Thursday night variety. West Ham are down to sixth in the table but only behind Spurs on goal difference. They are no strangers to getting big away wins this season but have only managed to earn one point from their last two games and have lost Payet to injury. Could they be starting to slip just like they did last season? I go for a Tottenham win here.
