Tottenham vs West Ham Prediction & Betting Tips - Carabao Cup
by Daniel Ngulu | in Carabao Cup Predictions
Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to advance in the League Cup when they host West Ham United in an all-London affair in the quarter finals. After two weeks without playing, Spurs returned to action with a 2-2 draw with Liverpool in an impressive showing at home. They are now unbeaten in their last three matches while four of their last five have produced over 2.5 goals. Last season, they fell at the final stage, to Manchester City and this season they’ve done well so far, eliminating two Premier League sides, Burnley and Wolves. Spurs’; recent run of fixtures will favor them, as they have played three straight home matches and still have two more. The significance of this has to be in their home form; the team has no loss in the last five home matches and has nine wins in 12 home matches this season.
West Ham United are no longer high flying; their recent matches have been humbling. In their most recent outing, they were thumped 2-0 at Arsenal and had to finish the game with 10 men after Vladimir Coufal’s red card in the 67th minute. That result not only marked their second loss in three matches, it was their third straight game without scoring. They’ve managed just one win in the last six matches. Away from home it isn’t better; the Hammers have three losses in five games on the road and have managed just one win in six as well. It will be tough for them, considering Tottenham’s run at home. In the opening two matches in the League Cup, they eliminated Manchester United then Manchester City and will be gunning for the same effect here.

Our Tottenham vs West Ham Prediction
West Ham have been on a poor run and the postponement of their game against Norwich should have been a key moment for them to reflect. While they have slumped in attack and posted a poor run ahead of this game, Spurs have enjoyed a good run at home this season. Spurs were impressive against Liverpool on Sunday and look the likeliest to prevail here. Back the home team to win this.
