After their Champions League exit in midweek, Tottenham return to Premier League action. They begin the weekend in fourth and host Nottingham Forest who are down in 14th place. By the time this match begins, Tottenham could be down to fifth in the table. That will be the case if Liverpool win at Bournemouth in the Saturday lunchtime game. Three points from this home game is vital for Tottenham. Newcastle and Brighton can go ahead of them if winning their games in hand and Brentford aren't far behind either. Tottenham come into this game in poor form with no wins and not one goal in their last three league and cup games. They are now four points above the relegation zone but their away form isn't helping them a great deal. Forest have the worst away record in the Premier League with just six points earned from 12 games. Their only win has been at Southampton who are in the bottom three. Their last two away league fixtures have both been lost with defeats at Fulham and West Ham. They failed to score in either match and conceded six goals. Forest have only scored three away league goals all season and conceded 29. Go for Tottenham to get back into winning ways.
