Tottenham vs Norwich Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup

Jose Mourinho is under pressure this week as Tottenham prepare for their match against Norwich in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Beaten at home by Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday, it was a third successive defeat in all competitions for Spurs. With one of those losses making an exit from this season's Champions League likely and the other two making qualification for next season's edition difficult, the future of Spurs under Mourinho isn't looking bright. Despite this, they remain seventh in the league, only two points off the final UCL spot made available by Manchester City's UEFA ban. At the other end of the table, bottom-placed Norwich gave themselves a lifeline with a first win in five matches when they toppled Leicester City on Friday. Unsurprisingly, the victory came at Carrow Road, one of only a handful of venues that Norwich have managed to win this season. 

Of the 17 games that Norwich have played away in all competitions this season, only three have resulted in victories for the Canaries. Interestingly, two of those three wins were in the FA Cup, the last round involving them beating Premier League opposition, Burnley. Norwich suffered defeat away to Spurs as recently as late January but the game was as close as the 2-1 scoreline would suggest. Tottenham have struggled to control games under Mourinho, something he would blame on the club's so-called injury crisis. But their attack isn't the only department that needs work. They have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five games in all competitions. That leads us to believe that another open game with both teams scoring is on the cards.
