Tottenham vs Manchester United Prediction & Betting Tips - International Champions Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in Football Predictions
Tottenham are the current holders of the International Champions Cup. They began their defence of the title with a 3-2 win over Italian champions Juventus at the weekend. They took a goal lead in the first half only to see Juventus score in the 58th and 60th minutes to go 2-1 up. Their lead only lasted five minutes before Tottenham equalized. It looked as if the game was going to end 2-2 until Harry Kane hit a wonder goal from the halfway line in the 93rd minute to give Tottenham the win. Kane didn't start the match, he came on as a substitute in the 46th minute replacing young striker Troy Parrott. That was one of 10 substitutions made by Spurs with Juventus only making eight.
That was Tottenham's first game since losing the Champions League final. Manchester United had played two friendlies against Perth Glory and Leeds United before facing Inter in this competition. Both those games were won without conceding a goal. New signing Daniel James has been impressive for them Marcus Rashford has already scored two goals for United and Mason Greenwood looks another impressive United youngster. He scored against Leeds United and then got the winner in their 1-0 win over Inter. He might just save United a few million in the transfer window. This should be a closely contested game and the tip is for United to get the win.

Our Tottenham vs Manchester United Prediction
It's early days but Manchester United have made a bright start to their pre-season. They seem to have unearthed another striker in Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford is already in scoring form. Not conceding goals will be putting a smile on United's faces after their poor defensive performances last season. Tottenham beat Juventus at the weekend but that result could have gone any way. They have only played one pre-season friendly so far, while United have played three. Go for United to continue their good form and get a win here.
