Tottenham are probably kicking themselves for losing that runners-up spot in the dying weeks of the 2015/16 season, even more so as it was Arsenal who stole second place off them. They have had a decent summer with no major departures and the arrival of Wanyama to bolster their midfield and Dutch striker Victor Janssen. They drew their opening fixture 1-1 at Everton, a decent way to kick off the season and another top four finish is possible this year. Palace would be glad of anything approaching that. They have still only won two Premier League games all year and began this season with a home loss to WBA. They lost Bolasie this week and are still desperately trying to get Benteke signed this season. Andros Townsend makes a return to his old club but Palace look destined to struggle this season just as they have all year.
