Top-six hopefuls Tottenham will look to stay in the hunt for European spots with a win against an Ivan Toney-less Brentford on Saturday. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will witness this Premier League match between the seventh and ninth-placed teams. Spurs are one point behind sixth-placed Brighton who play in this round earlier on Thursday against Newcastle. With Aston Villa only behind them on goal difference, the hosts are under pressure to stay in the European qualification spots. A 2-1 loss to Aston Villa last weekend hasn't helped the mood, making it their fourth loss in six matches. In fact, victories have been few and far between with only three from their last 11 league games. On that front, they would be happy to play at this venue that has seen them win six of the last eight in the league.

Brentford have been rocked by an eight-month immediate suspension of star striker Ivan Toney. With all those defeats coming without scoring plus the absence of Toney makes this a tough trip for Brentford.
