Tottenham start the weekend in sixth place just three points off the Champions League places. They are currently on a nine game unbeaten run in the Premier League and haven't lost since the opening day of the season and that was because of an own goal. One big worry for Spurs this season has been the form of their top scorer last season Harry Kane. He's been struggling for goals but that all changed last weekend when he hit a hat-trick at Bournemouth as they thrashed the south coast side 5-1 after going 1-0 down in the first minute. Home form has been good this season with a 4-1 hammering of Manchester City and a win over Crystal Palace plus draws with Everton, Liverpool and Stoke. Aston Villa won on the first day of the season but it's been a nightmare ever since. Just one point from nine games and yet there were still people surprised when Tim Sherwood was sacked. No new boss has been appointed yet and whoever does get the job will most likely take over the team bottom of the table. Their away form has seen four straight defeats since that opening day 1-0 win at Bournemouth. A win for Tottenham is definitely on the cards here.
