Tottenham vs Arsenal Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

This weekend's North London Derby sees Tottenham hosting Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday. Jose Mourinho's Spurs are ninth in the table, a point behind Arsenal in eighth place The two teams come into this game in poor shape and being played behind closed doors, it will be a contender for the most underwhelming derby of the Premier League era. Not to say that it won't be entertaining.. If Arsenal don't win the FA Cup then an eighth place finish will be enough for a Europa League spot if Manchester City's European ban is confirmed next week. Contending for that not-so-coveted spot is Sean Dyche's Burnley team, a place below Spurs on goal difference. The last few games between Spurs and Arsenal have been close affairs with both teams winning two apiece of the last six played, the other two ending in stalemates. Arsenal shook off a bad opening to the Premier League return by following up two successive defeats with three wins. This positive streak was broken by a draw with Leicester but Mikel Arteta will take positives from that draw with the Foxes. Aubameyang has been leading the goalscoring charge in attack, being helped by an emerging group of talented forwards led by Bukaya Saka. Arsenal have scored at least two goals in four of their last five matches in all competitions. Spurs, meanwhile, have not been as prolific.

In their last outing against Bournemouth, Spurs failed to register a shot on target. It was the fourth time in five matches since football restarted that they had failed to score more than once in a match. Spurs are better at home and have won four of their last six Premier League matches there. A win for Tottenham will see them go ahead of their rivals. A defeat will make qualifying for Europe even harder regardless of which position you need to finish in.  Away from home, Arsenal had been poor but they have won their last two away games. We see the sides cancelling each other out in what will be interesting for neutrals and gloomy for fans remembering better days. Back a draw.
