CA Tigre host Club Libertad in the second leg of their Copa Sudamerica Knockout round play-off tie. Tigre trail 2-1 from the away first leg with the winners of the tie facing Fortaleza in the last 16. The home side will be disappointed at their first leg result. They led 1-0 at one stage but two second half goals gave Libertad their narrow lead. Tigre finished second in their group, six points behind Sao Paulo. Only one of their three home group games was won and that was against Academia who lost all six of their matches. That was also the only home group fixture in which they managed to get on the scoresheet. Tigre are 21st in the 28-team Liga Professional Argentina and ten points behind the final Copa Sudamerica qualifying position. Their form isn't good at present with five of their last six matches being lost. Home form has seen only two of their last eight games being won with three of the last five ending in defeat. Both teams have scored in four of those five matches.

Club Libertad began this season in the Copa Libertadores tounament. They finished third in Group G so were moved into the Copa Sudamerica under the new rules introduced this season. Libertad didn't win any of their home games in that group but won two out of three on the road. The Paraguay Primera Division has only just started but Libertad are already top of the table. Both of their matches have been won and they are yet to concede a goal. That makes 'Gumareio' the only side to begin with two wins and already have a lead of a couple of points. 'The cabbage growers' are unbeaten in their last five matches. Four of their last six away games have been won and we believe a double chance bet on them to win or draw this match can be a winning one.
