Tunisia are on the verge of qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations finals. They lead this group by six points from Equatorial Guinea, Libya and their opponents in this game, Tanzania. Their lead was extended when winning 1-0 at home to Tanzania, while Equatorial Guinea won 3-2 in Libya, despite trailing 2-1 going into the 91st minute, a great result for Tunisia. A win in this game will take them into the finals, where they have reached at least the quarter finals in three of their last four appearances. They are unbeaten in their last eight matches, though they needed a penalty to get that win over Tanzania last week. Tunisia have won two of their last three away games and in qualifiers for this competition, have only lost in Egypt in their last six with four of the last five being won.

Tanzania still have a chance of making it to the finals for the second time in a row. They had a long wait for that 2019 appearance, their previous qualification being in 1980. Their one win in this group came against Equatorial Guinea in their opening fixture. They had to come from a goal down with 21 minutes of normal time remaining and won it with a 92nd minute goal. Two defeats have followed, though they did get a lead in Libya before losing 2-1. They come into this game having no wins in their previous five internationals with just one goal scored. Not many goals are being scored in their games though with six of the last seven having under 2.5 goals in them. Their last three home qualifiers have all been won so this won’t be easy for Tunisia. A bet on under 2.5 goals is the tip.
