Group D leaders Switzerland will on Sunday play bottom placed Italy in round two of the Under 21 Euro Championship. Switzerland defeated Norway on matchday one while Italy lost to France. The Swiss will seek a second win in this match that will secure their qualification into the knockout rounds. Patrick Rahmen's charges came back from a goal down to defeat Norway 2-1. They have now won their last two matches after they defeated Israel in a friendly right before arriving in Romania. The Rossocrociati are making their fifth appearance at the Euros and are yet to be crowned champions. They did however finish as runners-up in 2011.
