The stats suggest that we could have another stalemate on our hands when Sweden entertain Norway on Sunday, and we’re expecting to see both teams score and plenty of goalmouth action. The head to head record between these two teams, especially over the last few years makes for interesting reading, as the pair have drawn four of their last seven meetings which includes the last three encounters which all ended in stalemates. Norway might have only beaten Sweden four times before but have avoided defeat in 50% of their matches against Sweden. Four of the last five meetings between the pair have seen both teams score and four of the last six meetings between the two countries have produced over 2.5 goals, which is why we’re backing a 2-2 draw as the final score this weekend. The form of both sides since the end of last year has been impressive, with Sweden only lost one of their last six internationals and Norway repeating that feat and both countries have drawn two of their last six matches, providing even more reasoning as to why we believe the pair will draw on Sunday.
