Swansea vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Swansea are in deep relegation trouble and are only a point above the bottom three. Midweek saw them lost 4-2 at home to Sunderland. That was their second successive league defeat and they have only won one of their last 12 league and cup games. That included a 3-2 defeat in the FA Cup to League Two Oxford United. This week saw them transfer England midfielder Jonjo Shelvey to Newcastle for £12m so a few new signings may be due in the coming weeks.  They host a Watford side that has also suddenly began to struggle. A few weeks ago there was talk of European football, even the Champions League was mentioned as they strung together a series of wins. A poor festive period saw them draw at Chelsea and then lose at home to Spurs and Manchester City. Midweek saw them lose 2-0 at Southampton who have been struggling for form themselves. That was their third straight league defeat taking them down to 10th in the table. That's still only five points off the top six though. It's hard to back either side to win this game so I go for both teams to score as a safer option.
