Swansea vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Swansea have picked up a bit in recent weeks but are still only four points above the relegation zone. Southampton meanwhile are on a good run of form and up to seventh and with a good chance of getting into Europe. Swansea may have sold England midfielder Jojo Shelvey during the transfer window but it doesn't seem to have affected them that much. They have gone four league games unbeaten and only lost one of their last five at home. With their next two games being away to Spurs and Arsenal they need some points from this game but after those two difficult matches have three games against Norwich, Bournemouth and Aston Villa and those games will determine if they can get away from the bottom three. Southampton were looking over their shoulders too a few weeks ago but have moved back up the table with four wins and a draw in their last five league games without a goal being conceded. Away form isn't great though with just the one win in the last six league games. A difficult game to predict but with Southampton's defence being on top form and Swansea not scoring that many, I go for under 2.5 goals in the game as the best bet.
