Swansea vs Birmingham Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Last season saw Swansea City relegated to the Championship and they have been rather inconsistent so far this term. A fair share of the season has seen them outside the top ten and as low as 15th. They ended 2018 with a run of just one point from three league games and that was being held by Wigan at home and they have a dreadful away record. 2019 has been much more successful with seven points from three league games and they are through to the last sixteen of the FA Cup. A home win over promotion chasing Sheffield United showed what good form they are in. Home form often kept them in the Premier League but they have been a bit inconsistent this season with six wins, three draws and five defeats but only one of the last four have been lost.

Birmingham City are down in 13th but only a point behind their opponents. Whereas Swansea have been improving their form, it's the opposite for Birmingham with no wins in their last five league and cup games. It's been an up and down season with a slow start followed by a rise up to as high as seventh in the table. This year hasn't gone well though with just two points from four league games. In a tight division that means you can drop lots of places very quickly and that's what has happened to them. A win here would take them to within four points of the promotion play-offs. Away form this season has seen Birmingham win four, draw five and lose five but with only two wins in the last seven. Swansea are the form side and can get the win in this game to move up to eighth.
