14 points from their last eight league games have seen Swansea put eight points between them and the relegation zone they were in at Christmas. The last four home games have produced seven points and there should be another three here. Those last four home games have only produced five goals but there might be a few more goals being scored this weekend as relegation doomed Aston Villa come to town. The midlands side are rock bottom of the table and now nine points from safety, ten if you add on the fact they have an appalling goal difference.  Mid-April against Southampton will probably be the day their relegation is confirmed but most of their fans have accepted that fate for a fair while now. Remi Garde has hardly had any affect on the team since he took over as manager and Villa have lost their last five league games scoring just twice and conceding 17. They really are just a terrible side and it'll take some hard work to get them in contention for promotion next season. Just three points from their last 14 away games and no wins on the road since the first weekend of the season means it's fairly easy for me to predict that Swansea will win this match and secure their Premier League safety.
