Sunderland vs Leeds Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Sixth placed Sunderland host Leeds United who are third in the Championship. The Black Cats are bidding to make it two league wins in a row. Saturday saw them beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.. That was a welcome victory after a run of just a single point from their last three league games which led to their coach being sacked and yet to be replaced. The win over West Brom took them back into sixth, the final promotion play-off position. The play-offs are their best chance of earning promotion with a gap of 18 points to the second automatic promotion place. Sunderland have won six of their ten Championship home games this season but lost the other four. Both teams have scored in four of their last five matches.

Leeds United are 11 points above their opponents in the Championship table. Seven points separate them from second placed Ipswich Town. The Whites made a poor start to the season as they adapted to life back in the second-tier of English football. Their season has been turned around though and a form guide for the last ten league games has them top by two points. Saturday saw Leeds win 2-0 at Blackburn Rovers to make it three league wins in a row. United are unbeaten in their last seven league fixtures, last losing in late October. Both teams have found the back of the net in five of their last seven league fixtures and we fancy that stat to come up again on Tuesday.
