This is the kind of game that Sunderland simply have to win. Their away form is really letting them down with just eight points on their travels all season. Their next two games after this are Southampton and Newcastle away so three points at home to Palace is a must. Home form hasn't been too bad lately with that excellent win over Manchester United in February and just one loss in the last four at the Stadium of Light. They'll need to keep that up though as they still have Leicester, Arsenal and Chelsea to play at home. Sunderland are only a point off safety so a win here could take them out of the bottom three. Crystal Palace continued their slump in form with a 3-2 loss at West Brom on Saturday after conceding three first half goals. That's ten league games without a win now for a side that were trying to get into Europe a few months ago. They are still eight points above the relegation zone and a win here against a side who beat them at Selhurst Park this season, could just about ensure their safety for another season. They only have two points from their last five away league games though and I think Sunderland can get a vital home win here.
