Buoyed by their derby win against Lens, Lille travel to Alsace where they face underwhelming Strasbourg. The hosts finally claimed their first league win in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Angers, which has them sat in 14th place with eight points to their name. Tipped to star this year after last season’s impressive league campaign, Strasbourg have underwhelmed so far, having won a sole game in their last ten. They have also been winless in their last seven at the Stade de la Meinau, conceding in six of those. The Alsatian team have struggled in their recent encounter with Les Lillois, against whom they have lost all of their previous three home meetings, conceding seven goals in the process.

 Lille should be brimming with confidence after emerging as victors in the derby against bitter rivals Lens, also ending their seventeen game unbeaten streak in a majestic performance.
