Stoke City were challenging for a place in the Europa League last season but this time around they are looking doomed to relegation and will be if playing the way they have in recent weeks. They are one from bottom in the table and on a run of eight games without a win earning just four points from those games. At home Stoke have gone four without a victory and been beaten in the last two and their defensive problems continue. So far this season they have conceded 61 league goals and that's not a record you need when up against Tottenham. Stoke have an appalling recent record against the Londoners losing the last four games against them by an aggregate score of 17-1 and being beaten by four clear goals on each occasion.

The bad news for Stoke is that Tottenham arrive here in excellent form with three straight wins and ten goals scored in those matches. It's almost as if they are warming up for another thrashing of Stoke. Spurs are fourth in the table but the win at Chelsea last Sunday has taken them eight points clear of the fifth placed side so another run in the Champions League next season is nearly confirmed and they are only four points behind second-placed Manchester United. They are unbeaten in their last 13 league games and have won their last three on the road. They can make it four by beating Stoke and back them to be ahead at both half and full time.
