West Ham had a great 3-2 win over Manchester United on Tuesday that strengthened their chances of qualifying for the Europa League next season. Why the fuss though? They were in that competition and lost in the qualifiers after playing a weakened team because they were playing Arsenal a few days later. Anyway they can get into that competition again with a win  here. Even seventh might be enough as long as Crystal Palace don't win the FA Cup. A few less draws and the Hammers could have made it into the top four but 14 in a season is just too many. Away form has been weird for West Ham with early season wins against top sides and then some disappointing results. It's back on track now though with three wins and two draws in the last five. Stoke aren't in such good form with no wins in six and four defeats in the last five league matches. Any hopes they had of European football faded a long time ago. Home form has been dodgy too with no wins in their last four. They probably can't wait for the season to end but not so West Ham and I think they can get the three points that will get them into Europe.
