Such is the congestion in the Premier League, Stoke City start the weekend in 11th place but are only three points behind sixth placed Crystal Palace. Last week saw them draw 0-0 at West Ham and that was the third clean sheet in league and cup games for the Potters. If you wanted to win some money for Christmas then putting bets on Stoke matches to have under 2.5 goals has been the way to do it. Each and every one of their last 11 games in league and cup have ended with that distinct lack of goals being scored and I reckon they'll complete a dozen here. If only they could find a top striker to go with their impressive defence.  At home they have won three of their last four games but they take on a Crystal Palace side that are doing well on their travels. Their last two away league games have seen them beat Liverpool and draw at Everton so they'll be a tough team for Stoke to play here. Three of their last four league games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them so there's no surprise in my deciding to go for under 2.5 goals in this game as a way of getting a profit.
