Stoke City had high hopes coming into this season. They had a top ten finish in the Premier League last season and then signed a host of players during the summer.  Manager Mark Hughes definitely wasn't planning for them to be in the relegation zone after six games and yet to win a game. Just three points out of 18 is a terrible return for the Potters and could have been worse if they hadn't come back from 2-0 down at Tottenham to grab a point. Then again they gave away a 2-0 lead at home to Leicester City. That's the only one of three home league games that has seen Stoke score a goal. After this game, five of their next seven league games are away from home so they really need to get some points on the table. That won't be easy against a Bournemouth side that is growing in confidence. They'll be reasonably happy with their seven points from six games this season, especially after losing their opening two games against Aston Villa and Liverpool.  Away form has seen them win one and lose two but they certainly know how to find the back of the net with five scored in their last two away games.  Against a team struggling to find some form and conceding a few goals, Bournemouth can continue their good start to the season and at least get a draw here.
