Stoke City vs Chelsea Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Both of these two sides are having seasons they didn't expect. Stoke signed several players during the summer but start this game in 14th place. Defending champions Chelsea are down in 15th and have already lost on penalties here in the Capital One Cup they won last season. Stoke went six league games before their first Premier League win of the season. Two more wins over out of form teams followed but then they lost at home to Watford and could only draw at Newcastle. Goals aren't flowing despite the fact they continually leave Peter Crouch on the bench. Their last four league games have had less than 2.5 goals.  Chelsea beat Dinamo Kiev in midweek but they still struggle to find any consistency. Their away form isn't that impressive with just one win at West Brom. Another win here could ignite their season and keep the wolves away from Mourinho for a little while. The problem here is that you can't really trust either side too much at present. Stoke struggle to score at times and Chelsea are inconsistent so a bet on under 2.5 goals being scored could be the safest bet.
