After taking only a point from their first two matches of the 2025 league season, St. Patrick’s have since caught fire. They staged a dramatic late comeback in their last fixture, scoring twice in the final two minutes of play to steal all three points in a 2-1 away victory over Waterford.

It marked St. Pats fourth win from their last five outings and their second in a row, propelling them to the top of the standings with 13 points. They’ll be seeking to maintain their unbeaten home record where they’ve taken 10 points from a possible 12 while netting nine goals.

For the visiting Shelbourne, two goals in the first 12 minutes of play was enough to hold on to a 2-1 away win over Sligo Rovers last week.
