Hibs start in fourth place and only two points off the top three. Two second-half goals gave them the win over Hearts in their last game and that extends their unbeaten run to five games since a loss to league leaders Celtic in January. Their unbeaten run has included wins over both Rangers and Aberdeen who are second and third in the table. This is the third time these two sides have met this season and so far Hibs have lost to St Johnstone at home 2-1 and drawn 1-1 away. St Johnstone will do well to keep up that record though as they come into this game in mixed form. They had only won one of their last seven games before a 4-0 win at Dundee at the weekend. Dundee are 10th in the table and the other recent St Johnstone win was over bottom of the table Ross County so taking on the side fourth will be a tough task for them. Home form has seen them win just one of their last ten home league matches in a run going back to October. They will be glad of having a home match though as seven of their last nine matches have been away from home. Hibs are the clear form side and can get an important away win here that will take them up to third as Aberdeen don't play until the following day.
