Sporting vs Setubal Prediction & Betting Tips - Liga Portugal

Sporting keep on winning but still trail leaders Benfica by two points with two games to go. They play first this weekend and the home win I fully expect them to get will take them a point clear at the top. If they fail to win though Benfica can clinch the title with a win at Maritimo on Monday. Sporting have won their last seven league fixtures including a big 3-1 win at third placed Porto last weekend. It's that loss to Benfica at the start of March though that has dented their title hopes. At home Sporting have won three of the last four (the other being that loss to the league leaders) and 12 out of 16 with just that one loss. Setubal are down in 15th just the 53 points behind Sporting. With two games to go they are five points clear of the relegation zone so will be hoping the current bottom two Tondela and Academia (who meet on the final day of the season) don't win this weekend.  They both play before this game kicks off so if neither win then Setubal will know they are safe. Their form is terrible though with four straight defeats and no wins in the last 13 with just four points earned. They lost their last game to a nine-man Braga 3-2 and have just 19 points from their last 25 games. Sporting can get a comfortable win here and then hope Benfica slip up on Monday.
