The Major League Soccer season continues with a big game in Kansas City as they take on Inter Miami in the early hours of Sunday morning. This will have a different feel about it for the home team as due to the popularity of Lionel Messi, this game will be played at the Chiefs' stadium, Arrowhead, rather than Sporting's usual home ground of Children's Mercy Park. They have had four home games already this season and they have been great games for the neutrals with plenty of goals. They drew 3-3 with the Portland Timbers last weekend in a game where they were exceptional in the first half, running into a 3-0 lead before Portland hit back in the second half to claim a point. A 90+5 minute goal from Philadelphia saw Kansas drop two points in a home game earlier in the season, that has to be a concern against a team who are strong going forward.

Miami were a little disappointing at home to the Colorado Rapids last week, trailing at halftime, they took a 2-1 lead on the hour mark but Colorado got a late leveller to leave with the points shared. The positive for Miami was the return of Lionel Messi who netted their opening goal after being brought on as a halftime substitute. They shipped three goals at Monterrey in the CONCACAF Champions Cup in midweek, a competition that has added to a busy early season schedule for them. They have scored plenty of goals in the early weeks of the season, but they have struggled to stop them going in the other end, which has to be an ongoing concern.
