SC Braga vs Rangers Prediction & Betting Tips - Europa League

Braga bid to reach the last sixteen of the Europa League as they host Rangers on Wednesday. The Portuguese side went to Scotland last week and lost the first leg of this last 32 tie 3-2. That wasn't the result they were expecting with just 23 minutes remaining of that game. Braga had taken a 2-0 lead but then a great Rangers comeback saw them return home with a one-goal deficit. That loss ended a unbeaten run of 13 games in the Europa League going back to February 2018. They are currently third in the Primeira Division but 16 points behind second place. Braga had been unbeaten in ten games before Thursday's defeat with 24 goals scored in those matches. Home form has seen Braga lose just one of their last 15 and in the Europa League, they have won five and drawn three of theiir last eight played on home soil. Keeping clean sheets isn't their expert subject though with only two in the last 20 home Europa League matches. Current form has seen both teams score in four of their last six home matches with them beating Vitoria Setubal 3-1 on Sunday.

Rangers looked dead and buried when two goals down in the first leg. Now they head to Portugal with a goal lead as they play their Europa League game of the season. Rangers also had problems in their latest game as they were held to a 2-2 draw away at St Johnstone. They trailed and led in that match but had to settle for a point and are now nine points behind Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic. Only one of their last eight games has been lost but they have only been victorious in one of their last four away matches. Europa League form has seen Rangers lose just one of the last 15 games they have played this and last season. Away form isn’t that great though with just three out of 14 won in the last couple of seasons. They have drawn three of the last four though and that includes a 1-1 draw at Porto in the group stages. Rangers have scored in four of their last five away matches in this competition and will be keen to get on the scoresheet here. Go for both teams to score in this game.
