Porto have already won the Primeira League title. They go into this final game at fourth placed Braga with an eight-point lead at the top of the table. Their form has been impressive with their last six league games all being won. They have scored 21 goals in those matches with just two conceded. With seven wins and a draw from their last eight league games, they have been able to draw clear at the top. There was a period when Porto only earned five points from four games but Benfica (who had led the table) have been highly inconsistent. Away form has seen Porto lose just one of their last 14 league fixtures. That was at Famalicao in their first match after the season resumed. A win at Braga will make it a round dozen away victories in the league this season.

Braga are fourth and they have clinched their place in next season’s Europa League. They are three points behind third placed Sporting Lisbon. If they were to win this game and Sporting lost at Benfica, then they will finish third and go straight into the group stage of the Europa League. Braga aren’t in the best of form going into this game though. Their last two league games have seen them draw at home with Belenenses and lose at Tondela, currently both in the bottom five. Home form has produced nine league wins for Braga this season. Only one of their last nine home league matches has been lost with six of them won. They won the reverse fixture at Porto 2-1, the only home loss the champions have suffered in the league this season. They have lost their last two home league games against Porto. With their form dipping in the last two games against poor sides, go for Porto to end the league season in style with an away win.
