Spain vs Brazil Prediction & Betting Tips - International Friendlies
by Sridhar | in Football Predictions
In one of the most glamorous friends of this international football window, Spain will host Brazil. The iconic Santiago Bernabeu, home of the Real Madrid football club, is the venue for this match. With the hosts coming off a defeat and the visitors winning their last match, the contrast in mood is quite obvious. Yet, it is Spain that has been in the midst of consistent wins, while Brazil has been indifferent. There's never a better way to make a statement than with a win over global rivals, but it is unlikely that Brazil and Spain are going to digest a defeat here. Who will blink in this exciting contest?

Spain - Brazil: Form Analysis
Spain come into this match after a surprise 1-0 loss to Colombia on Friday. It was an experimental side that played against Colombia, with a goal past the 60th minute condemning them to a defeat. La Roja will now look to bounce back and go into the Euros with better confidence. Spain, indeed, were impressive in the European qualifiers with seven wins and a loss to top Group A, which also had Scotland and Norway. The defeat to Colombia was also their first across nine matches, so this is still not a time to panic for the hosts. Spain will face Andorra in one more friendly in June before their group engagements in Germany start against Croatia, Italy, and Albania. This will be Spain's first match against Brazil since the Confederations Cup in 2013.
Brazil won that match in the Confederations Cup 3-0 and has also won five of its nine matches against Spain. The South American giants are coming off a 1-0 win over England at Wembley on Saturday, a reminder of their threat to any team. It was the first match in charge of the national team for Dorival Junior, which made a winning start. It was a memorable strike for 17-year-old and 246-day-old Endrick, who incidentally will be joining Real Madrid this summer. The victory was a much-needed boost for Brazil, which lost its three previous matches to Uruguay, Colombia, and Argentina. Combined with a 1-1 draw against Venezuela, the win over England was Brazil's only success across five matches. The visitors are currently only sixth in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualification campaign and will be keen to build up some confidence for those matches later in the year. Before those qualifiers, though, the Brazilians will be seen in the Copa America competition, where they are paired with Paraguay, Costa Rica, and Colombia in the group stage.

Spain & Brazil Squad Analysis
Spain debut gave to three players in the match against Colombia, with Alex Remiro, Pau Cubarsi, and Dani Vivian getting their caps. There are going to be changes to the squad as they look to rotate and give game time to the entire team. Brazil didn't use Richarlison in the match against England, with the coach voicing concerns over his knee injury. Ederson and Alisson Becker are already out of the squad with injuries, which meant Bento earned his first cap against England. He could get another game, as Brazil is also likely to go for multiple changes to give some action to all the players. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo play their club football at this venue and are likely to play at least one half of the action.
