Southampton vs West Ham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Southampton slipped back into the Premier League relegation zone after losing at Newcastle United at the weekend. They are 18th but will escape the bottom three if beating 16th placed West Ham at home. Neither of these sides know a great deal about consistency but they are knowledgeable when it comes to conceding goals. Between them this season they have conceded 63 goals and there should be a few more added to that total in this game. Southampton have won their last two home games, both against sides in the relegation zone. This game against an out-of-form West Ham offers them a good chance to get three points but it's hard to trust them. They have already lost five home league games this season and eight home games have seen 32 goals scored, mostly by the opposition, especialy Leicester.

West Ham lost at home to Arsenal on Monday and their crisis deepends. The Hammers are only a point above Southampton and the day when they were in the top three feels a long while ago.  A form guide for the last 10 league games has them in 19th place with five points out of 30. They did win at Chelsea though so they aren't without hope of getting something from this game. Three of their last four away league games have been lost and they only have one clean sheet in their last ten matches. A bet on over 2.5 goals is one to go for in this match.
