Southampton vs West Ham Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Southampton have had a bit of an in and out season but they are going through a really good patch at present. Four points from two away games at Manchester United and Arsenal are a fantastic return and that followed two straight home wins. Even more impressive is the fact they haven't conceded a goal in any of those games. The return of Fraser Forster in goal has been a key to their improvement and he's yet to concede a goal since his return. Those recent good results have taken them to within five points of West Ham who are in sixth place. With seventh possibly enough to get a Europa League place, Southampton have a good chance of getting another run in that competition and they're looking for a fourth straight league home win. West Ham had a good win over woeful Aston Villa on Tuesday and are still only six points off a Champions League place.  They've kept clean sheets in their last two matches and have only lost one of their last 13 games in all competitions. Away form was out of this world at the start of the season but they only have one win in their last eight in all competitions. This is a tough game to predict but it should be a tight affair and under 2.5 goals in the game looks a good bet.
