Southampton will play host to Tottenham Hotspur in their next league game, with both sides coming from wins on Boxing Day. Southampton have 20 points, in 14th place, nine points below Spurs, who are fifth. Ahead of this game, Southampton survived a scare against West Ham to win 3-2 away from home and will be eyeing a win over another London side. While that win will give them the confidence they need, they also have a somewhat positive run at home going to this game.
