Another season and another new boss for Southampton in Mauricio Pellegrini. The usual player exodus hasn't been as bad this season but Jay Rodriguez has left for West Brom. They do need to sort out the van Dijk problem as it isn't helping anyone at present. In terms of signings they have acquired Mario Lemina and Jan Bednarek but that won't make them world beaters. Southampton finished eighth last season but only scored 41 goals and were only six points ahead of 17th place. They need to keep Charlie Austin fit and hope Gabbiadini continues the promise he showed in the second half of last season. Swansea have had relegation problems for the past two seasons and if Gylfi Sigurdsson heads for Everton or elsewhere they will struggle again. They have young Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham on loan and signed Roque Mesa but have sold Cork and Gomes. Just the 45 goals in the league last season and that needs to be improved on. Go for under 2.5 goals being scored in this game.
