Two games in and new Sunderland boss David Moyes is preparing for a relegation battle. He knows his side need to go out and sign more players but he's already done his best to turn his new club into a Man Utd rejects side (a description that fits the manager perfectly too). So far they've lost to both Manchester City and Middlesbrough and not impressed that much. Another long hard season does look likely for the poor suffering Sunderland fans. A couple of seasons ago Sunderland lost 8-0 away to Southampton. I don't see that result being repeated but nor do I see the Black Cats (the unluckiest Black Cats you'll ever see) getting a point. There have been plenty of changes at (selling) Southampton and this weekend they have a Pride event in the city. That won't be the only celebration as the Saints have looked pretty reasonable so far in a draw against Watford and a loss at Old Trafford. Long and Redmond are linking up well and I see Southampton getting a home win and inflicting more misery on Sunderland.
