Southampton are seventh in the Premier League and have started to get some good results at home. Early season form was a bit dodgy at home with defeats by both Everton and Manchester United. Since that loss to United they have played four games at home in league and cup winning three and drawing the other against Leicester after leading 2-0. That plus an unbeaten away record has seen the Saints go on an eight game unbeaten run. Scoring hasn't been a problem, they've managed to find the net at least twice in their last six home matches and Pelle will be looking for a goal which means he'd have scored in five of the last seven at St Mary's. Stoke City are 12th in the table but only four points behind Southampton. Stoke have kept clean sheets in their last three away Premier League games and last time out they joined the ever-growing list of teams who have beaten Chelsea this season, a list Southampton are already on but Stoke have done it twice in league and cup. Their last six games have had less than 2.5 goals scored in them and although Southampton are scoring plenty at home I see a Saints win but in a tight game.
