Both teams have played 25 matches. Southampton are coming of a 2-0 win over Everton in their last match and have only lost once in their last nine league matches. Their only loss during this period was against Wolves in January. Southampton are unbeaten in their last 10 home matches across all competitions with five wins and five draws. They have only lost once to Norwich in eight previous league home matches with that defeat coming in 1994. They lost to Norwich in the reverse fixture earlier in the season but have never lost to the bottom club twice in one season.
