Seventh in the Premier League take on eighth as Southampton host Liverpool. The possibility of a side outside the top four winning the FA Cup this season means finishing fifth or sixth will be needed to get into the Europa League next season. That leaves both these sides three points behind Manchester United in sixth place. However, Southampton have played a game more than United while Liverpool have a game in hand on them.Southampton's form recently has been a bit erratic. They had a good run in January and early February but then lost two games in a row before drawing with Sunderland and winning at Stoke City. Home form sees them with 13 points from the last six games but just one from the last two and that needed a late equalizer against Sunderland. Liverpool have that game in hand on United and are unbeaten in their last four Premier League games with three wins and a draw. They have only one defeat in their last four away league games and that was at Leicester. 13 goals have been scored by Liverpool in those games and they didn't even score at Leicester. This is another hard game to predict and Liverpool will have had a tough game at Old Trafford on Thursday evening. I think a bet on both teams to score looks a good one here.
